Underslung Form Traveller is a cost – effective and reliable solution! Both the overhead and the underslung FT are designed for free cantilever construction of pre-stressed girder and cable – stayed concrete bridges. And underslung FT designed for a segment length with 5 m to 9m.

The superstructure of cable-stayed bridge consists of three parts: main girder, tower and stay cable. Various materials and forms can be used for each part of the structure, so there are many construction methods. The construction method of the main girder of cable-stayed bridge is closely related to the structural characteristics of the bridge, such as the structural system, cable type, cable distance and the cross-section form of the main girder, in addition to the factors such as the construction technical equipment and site environmental conditions. Generally, the main girder of long-span cable-stayed bridge is constructed by cantilever casting or cantilever assembly. For small and medium span cable-stayed bridges, support method, jacking method or horizontal rotation method can be used according to the topographical, hydrological and meteorological conditions of the bridge site and the characteristics of the structure itself.
